Filter Cartridges

Pure Brand: 100% Coconut Carbon Filters

  • High Quality, 100% Coconut Shell Carbon that Produces "Sweet" Tasting Water
  • Excellent Contaminant Reduction Capacity for Common Chemical Health & Aesthetic issues such as Chlorine, Trihalomethanes, Volatile Organic Compounds, Pesticides, Herbicides, Tastes & Odours.
  • Recommended 12 Month Lifespan if (used on Municipal Treated Water - you may get less if used on particularly dirty/turbid/raw water).
  • Designed for Minimum Impact on Water Pressure

Our carbon block filter is made from 100% Coconut Shell Carbon, which creates what many believe to be the sweetest tasting water.

The unique pore structure of this carbon is well suited for chemical absorption, including VOC's, while reducing chlorine, chemicals and organic compounds that contribute to taste and odour. Coconut Carbon provides a much higher volume of micropores than coal, wood, or lignite-based carbon, thus, resulting in a more effective removal of chemical contaminants such as trihalomethanes (THMs) in Chlorinated sources.

The larger surface area provides a more effective method of filtering common contaminants such as chlorine, tastes and odour molecules. The unique raw material of the coconut shell and the carbon manufacturing process ensures exceptional hardness and low ash content.

Enhanced Filtration Tailored to Your Needs Included with our FLOWATER Whole House Filtration system are three essential filters designed to elevate your water quality. Your filter selection is customised to meet your specific water concerns.

Combat Contamination, Protect Your Supply Tank and bore water often carry a load of unwanted debris, ranging from sticks and leaves to rock sediment. Surprisingly, council water supplies aren't immune either; they can harbour sand, dirt, clay, silt, and rust particles. Some contaminants can even cause visible discolouration, buildup, staining, and unpleasant taste and odor—maybe even a gritty texture in rare cases!

Installing a sediment filter is your first line of defense. Not only does it improve water quality by removing unwanted particles, but it also safeguards your pipes and pump from clogging. Plus, it helps prevent your carbon filters from getting clogged with ultra-fine silt. With a sediment filter in place, you can ensure a cleaner, safer water supply for your home or business.

Pure Flow, Zero Hassle Free PolySpun filters are your answer to high-flow, low-pressure filtration without the headache of bacterial buildup. Crafted entirely from 100% Virgin Polypropylene, these filters offer unmatched cost-effectiveness and disposability.

With a gradient density design, they excel in both sediment-holding capacity and filtration efficiency, ensuring clean water with every drop. Trust Poly Spun filters for pure performance without compromise.

Unleash Pure, Coconut Bliss the essence of clean, sweet-tasting water with our 100% Coconut Shell Carbon Block Filters. Crafted with precision and expertise, these filters offer a superior solution for purifying your water.

Harnessing the unique pore structure of coconut shell carbon, our filters excel in chemical absorption, targeting VOCs, chlorine, and other taste- and odour-contributing compounds. Compared to coal, wood, or lignite-based carbon, coconut carbon boasts a higher volume of micropores, ensuring the effective removal of contaminants like trihalomethanes (THMs) from municipal water supplies.

Our Pure Coconut Carbon Block Filters are meticulously engineered using a blend of high-performance coconut shell carbon, specialised binders, and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques. With exceptional hardness and low ash content, these filters deliver unparalleled filtration performance. Plus, they're NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 61 certified, guaranteeing safety, purity, and effectiveness in reducing VOCs, THMs, lead, heavy metals, chloramine, and chlorine taste and odour.

Experience water filtration at its finest with our Pure Coconut Carbon Block Filters—because every drop deserves perfection.

Embrace the Flow: High Performance, Low Pressure Say goodbye to water pressure woes with our 20uM Low-Pressure Drop Carbon filter. Engineered to excel in low-pressure environments, this filter ensures smooth water flow without compromising on filtration efficiency.

Designed with off-grid systems in mind, our Low-Pressure Drop Carbon filter is ideal for locations where water pressure may be a challenge. Unlike traditional filters, it features a unique blend of high iodine coconut carbon with hydrophilic properties. This innovative design allows for minimal contact time while still effectively removing chlorine and other chemicals from your water supply.

Whether you're dealing with low water pressure or organic odours in tank water, our Low-Pressure Drop Carbon filter is your solution for clean, refreshing water. Embrace the flow and experience filtration performance like never before.

Pure Taste, Peace of Mind: Say Farewell to Chlorine For those on council water or relying on chlorine-treated tanks, chlorine's unpleasant odour and taste can be a major concern. Beyond its offensive qualities, chlorine can also pose health risks through topical exposure or ingestion. While effective at sanitising water, chlorine can react with other chemicals to form Volatile Organic Compounds and Disinfection By-Products like Trihalomethane (THM) and Chloroform.

Our Chlorine, Taste, and Odour cartridge are here to banish these worries, delivering pristine, great-tasting water free from harmful chemicals and unpleasant smells. By effectively removing or reducing free chlorine, it ensures your water is clean and refreshing. Experience the Difference with our 0.5 Micron Chloramine Reduction Carbon Block filter. With a nominal rating of 0.5uM, this filter boasts an expansive surface area of composite catalytic carbon, designed to swiftly denature and neutralise chloramine with minimal contact time. As water flows through the filter, chloramine and other chemicals react with the carbon surface, creating denatured compounds that are then re-absorbed, effectively neutralising chloramine and chlorine molecules.

Protect Your Health, Preserve Your Plumbing: Heavy Metal Defense The continuous exposure to heavy metals and the various chemicals used to treat our water sources can pose significant health risks and wreak havoc on our home plumbing systems. Whether it's rainwater with its acidic pH or chlorine/chloramine-treated water with its basic pH, both can be corrosive, leading to plumbing issues and potential health hazards. Additionally, rainwater, especially in urban and industrial areas, may contain elevated levels of heavy metals, further complicating the situation.

Enter our Lead Reduction Cartridge—a technological marvel designed to combat these challenges head-on. This advanced cartridge is engineered to effectively reduce trace heavy metals present in your water, including lead, arsenic, chromium, and copper. In addition to heavy metals, it also tackles chlorine, Volatile Organic Compounds, and Trihalomethanes, ensuring your water is clean, safe, and free from harmful contaminants.

Filter Replacement

HOW TO USE A PRESSURE GAUGE?
This system includes pressure gauges as standard, making it easy to see if your filters are getting clogged and to monitor how well your system is working. Just mark the pressure level when you set it up or put in new filters. If the pressure drops over time, it's a sign your filters need a change.

FILTER CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE

We suggest changing filters annually for optimal performance. To make it easy, sign up for our 12-month filter reminder email service! Just fill out the contact form, choose 'Filter Replacement Reminder' from the dropdown menu, and we'll make sure you never miss a filter change

  • Changing filters is a breeze! Just shut off the water flow to the system, press the pressure relief valves, unscrew the sumps, swap out the filters, screw them back in, and turn the water back on! You might notice the water feeling a bit "slippery" initially after putting in new carbon filters, but no worries - this is normal and will clear up once enough water has passed through. If the water appears cloudy at first, relax! It's just dissolved oxygen and will dissipate quickly once the new filters are in action.
